Braithwaite Family Reunion

July 14-16th, we headed down to Manti for the Braithwaite Family Reunion. We arrived a day early to have some family vacation time. First we went to Palisade Reservoir. Bryndi was excited to get in the water.

Rachel tried to go boating, but sleeping under the trees was much more relaxing.

Oh yeah. We got the paddle boat in glitter sparkle purple!

This little girl is a fish. Have I mentioned that she passed her swimming class with flying colors and can swim under the water now?!

We stayed at the Temple View Lodge Vacation Home. AMAZING! 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, vaulted ceilings, large yard. This place was so much fun and not much more money than a hotel room!

I love the Manti temple. I got up early one morning to go while Richard watched the girls. I LOVE going to the temple!

The vacation home is over 100 years old. One of the coolest things was this hutch. Those 3 windows on the top are REAL stained glass windows that look into the backyard. They built the hutch into the house!

My 5th great grandfather's headstone: William Braithwaite

We didn't know when we named Bella Rose that my great-great grandfather William Francis Braithwaite had a sister named Bella AND a sister named Rose! This little Bella died a month before she turned 3 :(

Independence Day

My friend Teresa hosts a big breakfast and patriotic ceremony every 4th of July. The girls dressed up in their red, white, and blue.

The veterans put on the flag ceremony and Haylee sang for us beautifully. I wish I had taken more pictures!

The Lehi fire department let us on their truck and made the girls honorary firefighters!

Father's Day

I took some pictures of the girls with Richard after church one Sunday. I think it  was a couple weeks after father's day, but better late than never!

This one is definitely a Daddy's girl.

5 months old?!

This cutie pie will be 5 months old tomorrow! Time goes by with lightning speed when you're having so much fun! My friend Claudia made her this darling outfit :) For that matter my friend Bryndi made the quilt she's on!
