Bella Rose

I sure love this baby. She's growing up so fast.

Bella will barely be 11 months old in a couple days and she already has guys hanging on her. (Spencer in the picture.) It's going to be a long haul to through the teen years!

Miracles do happen because Bella slept through the night on Tuesday. NINE hours. Her best up until then was only 6 hours. But alas, last night she was up every 3 again. Oh well, making progress.

Our little sweetheart!

Ni Hao!

This is how I look lately. Riding my bike, training for a 100-mile ride on June 6th.

The girls often go with me. They like the bike trailer and are usually really good on our rides. It sure makes for a harder workout when I haul them behind me!

I laughed out loud the other day when I walked in my bedroom and saw this. Bryndi is always tucking her dolls and stuffed animals in for naps. Here is her frog on my pillow and her kitty on Richards'.
Not the kind of thing you expect to see in your bed :)

Here is Bryndi watching her new favorite show: Ni Hao Kailan. It is similiar to Dora, but with a cute little Chinese girl. Bryndi can now say thank you, listen, and 1,2, 3 in perfect Mandarin Chinese. Xie xie, ting, Ee, ar, san. Cool. I went to China several years ago to teach newborn resuscitation. The doctors and nurses would giggle every time I would say something in Chinese. Pretty funny when they are trying to revive a baby manekin and you say the baby isn't breathing and every0ne giggles.

Quotes of the day

As we are driving by Chuck E. Cheese today on the way to the store Bryndi said, "Oh! There's Chuck E. Cheese! (wistfully)... It's beautiful!"

Later in the day, "I'm not sad. I'm cute."

Several times a day (with a completely blank look on her face no matter how many times I tell her or how well I explain myself) "What? What you say? What Mommy? What you say?"

It's hard to be two

Poor Bryndi. She just wanted to brush her own hair. I actually detangled half of the brush before I stopped to take this picture.

This girl is talking up a storm lately. She will talk the ear off of anyone who will listen. She says funny things all the time, and I need to be better at writing them down. The other night she asked Richard for something and he said no. She frowned at that and said, "No! You may NOT tell me no!". She was eating lunch the other day and kept saying, "Mmm...delicious!" throughout the meal.
