Bella and her Blanky

Bella is 100% a binky and blanky baby. She walks around dragging her blanket behind her everywhere she goes. If I put it away in her crib or in the laundry she will go find it. Funny cause Bryndi never took a binky OR carried a blanky around.

Bryndi loves her sister Bella. They have fun playing on the slide together.

Bryndi turns THREE!

Bryndi celebrated her third birthday on the 16th. She had a Tinkerbell party. Her friends Haylee, Naidelyn, Mariah, Holly, and Riley attended.

The girls have homemade magic wands.

1st day of preschool!

I can't believe my daughter is in school! Yesterday was Bryndi's first day of preschool. The preschool in my neighborhood was booked up several months ago, so I thought I would wait until next year to start her. After all, she doesn't even turn 3 until Sept 16th. But I found this great preschool in north Orem, and Bryndi is carpooling with her cousin Jaxon so it works out perfectly.

Aren't they cute? Jaxon is a year older, but Bryndi is tall so they look just right together.

I AM getting a new camera for Christmas!

So what did I do with my 2 hours of free time? Went bike riding! Shelli and I rode 12 miles--up the canyon to Vivian park and back. We left Bella and Levi with JT. Thanks again! It was a fun ride!

Yesterday afternoon we were playing in the backyard and Bryndi picked a dandelion that was all white on top with the seeds--the kind that are ready to blow away in the wind. She excitedly shows me and says, "Look, Mom! I got a poofy head!"

That's right. Bella was playing with the food coloring while I was making dinner. I turned around to see this scene and had to grab the camera!


No, I am not dying easter eggs. Nor am I bathing the child in pee, as Bryndi was afraid I was doing. Bright yellow-green water. Fun for us! Is is okay to wash your baby's mouth out with soap in this instance? ;)

We visited Richard's aunt Ruth and her husband Geno in Sparks Nevada. We had a great time and Geno made us a delicious Italian dinner!

Hakone Japanese Gardens

Richard served his mission in Japan, so we love all things Japanese. When I was looking up things to do in San Jose during our vacation I found these Gardens online. The oldest Japanese Gardens in the country and they are in Saratoga, southwest San Jose.
