Blue freckles

Yesterday I found a blue permanent marker and set it aside so I could put it "somewhere safe", away from toddler hands. Well, I didn't get it to that safe place fast enough.

Kind of looks like a constellation of blue freckles, huh?


How could I get upset with this face?!

Beautiful Bella

We took a trip to Las Vegas the 15th to the 18th. Bryndi stayed with Jordan and Jessica and family. Bella got some one on one time with mom and dad. This is how she looked on the drive down. What an angel she was!

Bella and Richard after we ate at the Todai Sushi buffet. Richard had the sushi and I ate the rest of the Japanese food. Yum!


The Desert Rose resort had the best baby bathtub in the kitchen!

Happy 8 months old Bella! I love you!

Its all good...

Bella's first babbling word was Dada. She says dadada all the time. But last night she started saying good, good, good. I had to get it on tape to prove it!

Hiding under the couch

So my sister Melody gave Bryndi some hair bows for her birthday. I decided to figure out how to make them myself and I'm hooked. I made this super easy hair bow holder yesterday and you can see some of the bows I've made. So fun.


Bella doesn't even scoot yet, I thought. But I came into the living room yesterday and found this scene.
It was deja-vu as you can see with Bryndi's pic.

Muscles

Yesterday I had Bella at my brother's house and my 5-year-old nephew Evan was watching as I changed her diaper. When I took off Bella's pants and he saw all the rolls on her legs he excitedly yelled, "Look! She has muscles!" As I continued to change her, he was surprised that she was not fighting me, since she is so strong with all those muscles and all :)

Photo shoot

These are some pictures of Bryndi when she was 12 months old. This morning as I was getting Bella dressed, I put this same outfit on her.

So I decided to do a little photo shoot. Complete with the stuffed pink elephant from the picture.



Can you believe Bella is seven months old? I can't believe they're wearing the same outfit!

Yep, Bella could be in a mascara commercial: "Your lashes could be full like this baby's".
